PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for determining simply and accurately a peptide compound having a phenylalanine residue at an N-terminal. SOLUTION: This determination method of the peptide compound having the phenylalanine residue at the N-terminal includes a process for measuring a heat quantity generated by mixing in a solution, (1) the peptide compound having the phenylalanine residue at the N-terminal, (2) cucurbituril [7], and (3) metal ion.
