<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate a musical tone with sufficient sound pressure in automatic performance of a brass-wind instrument. <P>SOLUTION: A movable valve section 74 is arranged between a space R1 to which air A is supplied from an air supply duct 26 and a space R2 in a mouthpiece 14 of the brass-wind instrument. The movable valve section 74 is movable to a first position which isolates the space R1 and the space R2, and a second position which is separated from the first position to a side opposite to the space R1, and through which the space R1 is connected to the space R2.
