PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic encoder capable of enlarging the burning temperature range, as compared with conventional technologies, acquiring necessary and sufficient strength of a burned product, and reducing the manufacturing cost, a bearing for a wheel equipped therewith, and to provide a magnetic body for the magnetic encoder. SOLUTION: In this magnetic encoder 10, equipped with a multipolar magnet 14 wherein each magnetic pole, is formed alternately in the circumferential direction, and a core bar 11 for supporting the multipolar magnet 14, the multipolar magnet 14 is applied, which is acquired by making the ingredient powder formed by furthermore making non-magnetic metal powder mix with the mixed magnetic powder, comprising plated magnetic powder and nonplated magnetic powder.
