摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tool clamping mechanism preventing a clamped tool from coming off by a simple configuration. SOLUTION: Guide holes 29, 30 in the radial direction are formed in a draw bar guide 5 to which a main shaft 1 and a draw bar are fixed. While the draw bar is pulled upward by a spring and the tool is clamped by its front end, the guide holes 29, 30 opposed to each other. A pin 31 is attached to the guide hole 30 in the draw bar guide 5 and is energized in the direction of the center of the main shaft by an elastic body 32. While the main shaft does not rotate, the pin 31 is pulled into the draw bar guide 5 as shown in (b) and protrudes into the guide hole 30 in the draw bar guide 5 due to centrifugal force generated by rotation of the main shaft as shown in (a). Consequently, the draw bar cannot descend and the tool does not come off even if force in the direction for pulling out the tool acts on the tool during cutting. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
