<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operating device for a drum brake providing connection of a pulling member such as a brake cable to a drum brake by simple work. <P>SOLUTION: The operating device 10 for a drum brake is provided with a case 30, and a lever 20. A rotating supported part 20d is formed on the lever 20, a rotating support part 30d rotatably supporting the lever 20 is formed on the case 30, and they are composed such that they can be separated away from each other. An engagement part 20e is formed on the lever 20, the engagement part 20e is engaged with the case 30 by contractive force of a shoe return spring in a state with the rotating supported part 20d separated away from the rotating support part 30d, and in a state with a cable attached part 20b in the lever 20 exposed from the case 30, and engagement can be released by operation force of a worker pulling the brake cable. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
