A method for manufacturing a discharge sheet for a plasma display panel is provided to significantly shorten a process time required to form electrodes by forming the electrodes using etching. A base plate(201) is prepared, and then conductive layers(210a,220a) are formed on both sides of the base plate. A photoresist layer(301) is formed on the conductive layer. A mask(302) is disposed on the photoresist layer, and then the base plate is subjected to exposure and development to remove the photoresist layer, except for a portion corresponding to an electrode and a portion corresponding to a discharge space. The exposed conductive layer is etched and removed, and then the remaining photoresist layer is removed. The conductive layer and the base plate are drilled at portions corresponding to the discharge space, and then a dielectric is applied on electrodes and the base plate.
