MULTIMEDIA SOC BUILT-IN PLC MODULE

摘要

A multimedia device embedded with a PLC(Power Line Communication) module is provided to set a PLC module, high-resolution AD(Analog to Digital)/DA(Digital to Analog) converters, a dedicated digital multimedia signal processor, a micro controller, and plural communication interfaces to a system-on-chip unit, thereby making the multimedia device have high integration with low power. A system-on-chip(10) comprises as follows. A PLC module(11) performs communication based on a power line. A multimedia signal processing module(13) processes video and voice data. A micro controller module(12) performs control in connection with the PLC module and the multimedia signal processing module. The system-on-chip has VoIP(Voice over Internet Protocol) and remote monitoring functions which are IP-based multimedia services, and consists of one single chip by being embedded with each module.
