Piezo actuator module or piezo actuator with a cladded protection layer system

The module has a set of piezo units (6) enclosed between an actuator foot (5) and actuator head (4) as a piezo actuator. A protective layer system consists of an isolation medium that surrounds the actuator and a metallic casing that lies over the isolation medium. The metallic casing is provided with a plastic injection molding in an area of a connection at the actuator foot and/or head. The molding forms a liquid tight connection with the metallic casing having metal foil and also with the actuator head or foot in a radial circular manner, where the molding is made as epoxide mold mass.
