A construction method of a tree-protecting cover is provided to protect a tree effectively and promote water permeation by laying a rubble layer, a rubber particle layer, a water-permeative block, and a protective cover composed of a rubber chip packing layer. A construction method of a tree-protecting cover comprises the step of: (i) laying gravel or rubble on the ground(14) in which a tree takes root(12), when planting the tree inward from a boundary stone(16) between blocks of a footpath or a park, to form a rubble layer(20); (ii) crushing waste tires, spreading a large number of rubber particles on the top of the rubble layer to form a rubber particle layer(30); (iii) constructing a water-permeative block(40) made of concrete or rubber inward from the boundary stone on the top of the rubber particle layer; and (iv) laying a mesh fabric(52) between the water-permeative block and the tree, followed by constructing a protective cover(50) on the top of the mesh fabric, wherein the protective cover is composed of a water-permeative rubber chip packing layer(54) made by mixing rubber chips and a binder and packing. |
