#CMT# #/CMT# The videoendoscope has an articulated distal tip deflection modifying the orientation of a distal tip. A socket (10) includes a distal end integrated to the tip and a proximal end. A control handle (1) has a distal face integrated to the proximal end, a visual display unit (7) that is arranged in a distal part of the frontal face and a keyboard (5) that is arranged in a proximal part of the frontal face. A powered device (35) is housed in the handle below the display unit and includes two motors (41) e.g. servomotors, having coaxial shafts around which two cables (64) are driven. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Videoendoscope for industry-oriented endoscopy application for observing an image of a target situated in an obscure cavity on a video screen. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The configuration of the videoendoscope improves ergonomics of the videoendoscope, eliminates the need to connect videoendoscope to an external digital image processing device, thus reducing weight, mass and power consumption of the videoendoscope.
