Provided is a fuel cell system capable of appropriately performing fuel cell impedance measurement and scavenging control upon stop of a fuel cell system. A fuel cell system according to the present embodiment includes a control unit (50) which monitors and controls the state of a fuel cell (1). The control unit (50) stops supply of a fuel gas to the fuel cell (1) and then executes scavenging to exhaust moisture outside from the fuel cell (1). During the scavenging process of the fuel cell (1), the control unit (50) intermittently measures the impedance of the fuel cell (1) and intermittently supplies the fuel gas to the fuel cell (1) during the scavenging process of the fuel cell (1). |
