The engine has a combustion chamber (2), air intake pipe (6), and exhaust gas discharge pipe (8), and a turbo compressor (10). The turbo compressor includes a turbine (11) placed in the discharge pipe and driven by the flow of exhaust gas. The turbo compressor includes a compressor (12) placed in the air intake pipe, where the compressor (12) is driven by the turbine. A communicating unit (14) communicates with the air intake pipe in downstream of the compressor (12) with the discharge pipe in upstream of the turbine. An independent claim is also included for a method for managing an internal combustion engine.
