A method for parsing a character string with a map table is provided to reduce system load largely when the system load is great and improve a parsing speed by easily parsing the character string, as the map table is made by defining a delimiter. At least one delimiter included to a character string is defined(S100). A plurality of first unit character strings are defined(S200). A plurality of second unit character strings comprising a plurality of first unit character strings are defined(S300). An address map data is made by fixing the number of delimiter types and the number of most frequently used delimiters in 'n' unit character strings(S500). The character string placed between two delimiters is found by finding a position of two delimiters in the address map table(S600).
