The appearance of a disk substrate is improved, and particularly, characteristics of an optical disk substrate serving as a recording medium are enhanced. A disk-molding mold has a first mirror surface disk disposed on the first mold side and a second mirror surface disk disposed on the second mold side. Flow passages (83, 84) for temperature control are formed in at least either of the first and second mirror surface disk so as to be tilted relative to the axial directions of the first and second mirror surface disks. Since the flow passages (83, 84) for temperature control are formed in at least either of the first and second mirror disks so as to be tilted relative to the axial directions of the first and second mirror surface disks, the areas occupied by the flow passages (83, 84) when the mirror surface disks are cut by a plane in the radial direction can be increased, and in addition, the overall area of the inner peripheral surfaces of the flow passages (83, 84) can be increased. Consequently, cooling efficiency can be increased.
