A method for preparing an embroidery base fabric is provided to realize a dimensional blank of embroidery and various visual effects, by using Korean paper as a base fabric matter. Double Korean paper, which is obtained by overlapping two or more Korean paper sheets, is watered(S1). The double Korean paper is symmetrically pulled in right, left, up and down directions so that the double Korean paper is not shrunken(S2). The double Korean paper is laid on the flat bottom. The double Korean paper is uniformly beaten with hands to have a voluminous feeling while air is removed from the double Korean paper and fibers are entangled with one another(S3). The double Korean paper is dried in a natural dry condition, and cloth is attached on the dried double Korean paper(S4). Further, the step(S1) additionally comprises a step of dyeing by watering the Korean paper sheets by adding natural dyestuffs.
