PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid-state photographing device excellent in shading capability, and also to provide its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: The solid-state photographing device is characterized in that it is equipped with: a photographing region where pixels 60 composed of photoelectric conversion unit PDs and transistors Tr1 and Tr2 are arranged; and a multilayered interconnection 62 [621, 622, and 623] formed above the pixels 60 through an interlayer insulating film 61, and that the interlayer insulating film 61 has shading properties.
