<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide exhaust heat recovery equipment capable of securing a water head difference between an evaporation section and a condensation section when circulating a working fluid, and capable of securing heat radiating performance on the upper side of a heat pipe arranged in the condensation section. <P>SOLUTION: This exhaust heat recovery equipment has the evaporation section 1 evaporating the working fluid by exchanging heat between exhaust gas of an internal combustion engine and the working fluid sealed inside, which can be evaporated and condensed, and the condensation section 2 condensing the working fluid by exchanging heat between the working fluid evaporated by the evaporation section 1 and cooling water of the internal combustion engine. The evaporation section 1 and the condensation section 2 are arranged in a closed looped flow passage for circulating the working fluid. The evaporation section 1 and the condensation section 2 are adjacently arranged in the substantially horizontal direction. The condensation section 2 is provided with a plurality of condensing side heat pipes 3b arranged in parallel, and the condensing side heat pipes 3b are provided with a small cross-sectional area part 300 having the cross-sectional area smaller than its upper end part. The small cross-sectional area part 300 is arranged on the lower side than an upper surface of the working fluid when heating the evaporation section 1 in the condensing side heat pipes 3b. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
