<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for the treatment of a gas containing organic solvents which is used to adsorb and remove a gas containing many organic solvents with a honeycomb-like adsorption element containing an adsorbent and solidify and recover the condensed organic solvents, recovers specified organic solvents efficiently and also treats unrecoverable organic solvents efficiently, reduces the displacement recovered by the condensation, increases the concentration of organic solvents in the drain, and controls a deterioration in the quality of organic solvents. <P>SOLUTION: The system comprises returning a gas which cannot be condensed for liquefaction recovery by a cooling operation to the inlet of a honeycomb-like adsorption element so as to circulate, reducing the removal rate by increasing the concentration at the inlet of the honeycomb-like adsorption element, adsorbing and removing the gas which has passed through the honeycomb-like adsorption element and contains unrecovered organic solvents, again by means of the honeycomb-like adsorption element, while desorbing the adsorbed organic solvents with heated air and treating the gas containing the desorbed organic solvents with a solvent recovery apparatus or a combustion apparatus. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
