PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remaining water reporting system for a concrete mixer truck which uses a relatively inexpensive measuring instrument, can accurately detect the amount of the remaining water in a drum, suppresses the occurrence of failure, utilizes remaining water detection start indication and the result of the detection, and can link with the work for charging ready-mixed concrete into the drum. SOLUTION: In the remaining water reporting system having a remaining water detection sensor 4 detecting the presence of the remaining water in the drum of the concrete mixer truck and reporting means (5 and 6) which judge the presence or absence of the remaining water in the drum based on the detection signal of the remaining water detection sensor and report its result, the remaining water detection sensor is arranged on the wall surface of the drum and in the rotation direction of the drum, and the type of the sensor is an electrode type, an electrostatic capacity type, a pulse vibration type, or a high frequency capacity type.
