PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water jet machining device capable of preventing abrasive grains in cutting a workpiece from scattering around a processing area of the workpiece. SOLUTION: This water jet machining device comprises workpiece holding means holding a workpiece, processing water injection means having a processing water injection nozzle injecting processing water to the workpiece held by the workpiece holding means, and moving means relatively moving the processing water injection means and the workpiece holding means. The device is equipped with water curtain formation means surrounding the processing water injected from the processing water injection nozzle to form a tubular water curtain.
