PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyethylene for a cyanoacrylate-based adhesive container, providing excellent preservation stability of the cyanoacrylate-based adhesive, and having excellent dropping properties, coating-controlling characteristics, restoring properties from deformation of the container, durability or the like; and to provide the container comprising the polyethylene. SOLUTION: The polyethylene for the cyanoacrylate-based adhesive container satisfies the requirements of (a) 0.05-100 g/10 min melt flow rate (MFR) at 190°C temperature under 2.16 kg load, (b) 0.930-0.970 g/cm<SP>3</SP>density, (c)≤10 wt.ppm content of a group 17 element in the periodic table, (d) <100 wt.ppm content of a phosphorus-based antioxidant, (e) <100 wt.ppm content of a fatty acid metal salt-based antacid, and (f) <100 wt.ppm content of an inorganic antacid.
