<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roller core which is easily manufactured and a roller which ensures good printing quality by using the roller core. <P>SOLUTION: The core 11 of the roller 10 is composed from a core main body 13 and a supporting shaft 14 fixed to both ends of this core main body 13. The supporting shaft 14 is composed of a cylinder part 15 fitted on an end part of the core main body 13 and a shaft part 16 formed integrally with the cylinder part 15. The supporting shaft 14 is fixed to the core main body 13 in a state in which the cylinder 15 is fitted to the core main body 13.
