<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust mechanism for simultaneously realizing high output of a light source and compactness of a device, while efficiently reducing the temperature of the inside of a device, lowering the exhaust temperature, and reducing the noise, and to provide a projection image display that uses the mechanism. <P>SOLUTION: The exhaust mechanism includes a first exhaust fan 13 for mainly exhausting an exhaust from a light source 9 to the outside, and a second exhaust fan 14 for mainly exhausting from a power supply part 11 to the outside, and arranges to partly overlap the second exhaust fan 14 in the exhaust side of the first exhaust fan 13 in two layers. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
