<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printed circuit board that allows for simplifying the structure of an optical pickup actuator, and more generally to provide such a non-conductive medium. <P>SOLUTION: A non-conductive medium with a pattern of electrically conductive material arranged thereon is movable when positioned in a magnetic field, wherein the pattern of electrically conductive material comprises a first layer of a plurality of linear conductive paths 101 arranged on the non-conductive medium parallel to a first axis, and each of the plurality of linear conductive paths 101 is connected to at least a first terminal 102 and a second terminal 103 arranged on the non-conductive medium, and the linear conductive paths 101, when an electrical current (i) flows at least between the first terminal 102 and second terminal 103, are adapted to generate an electromagnetic force, as a result, the non-conductive medium moves along a second axis perpendicular to the first axis. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
