<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a print system which prevents a printed material formed by an image forming apparatus according to a print request sent from a PC from being left in a paper discharge tray, or prevents a mistake in which a printed material is picked up from a wrong paper discharge tray. <P>SOLUTION: This image forming apparatus 20 imparts serial number to a print job received from a PC 30. When the image forming apparatus 20 performs the printing, it sends printing execution result information including the serial number and the date and time of the printing to a server 10. The server 10 manages a non-acquired state of a printed material by using an acquisition flag in a print record list formed from the printing execution result information. The server 10 changes the acquisition flag to be in the already-acquired state from the non-acquired state when information that the printed material is picked up, is sent from the image forming apparatus 20, and then sends an alarm message to a user of the PC 30 that sends the print request of the printed material and is in the non-acquired state for a period of time longer than a prescribed time period. When the fact that the printed material is picked up from a tray the number of which is different from a tray number displayed on an operation display section, is detected by means of a tray sensor 25, the alarm is displayed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
