PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a display device capable of optimally and easily adjusting gamma characteristics according to the characteristics of each liquid crystal panel through three kinds of adjustments including the amplitude, gradient and fine tuning in adjusting the gamma characteristics, and realizing high image quality and versatility. SOLUTION: The display device comprises a plurality of ladder resistors 326 to 330 that subject a reference voltage to resistor division; a resistor dividing circuit that further subjects the voltage divided by the ladder resistors to resistor division; selector circuits 308 to 313 that select a grayscale voltage, according to the display data from the voltages divided by the resistor dividing circuit; a first variable resistor 322 placed between the ladder resistors and a reference voltage; a second variable resistor 321 placed between the ladder resistors and the ground; and third variable resistors 323, 324 placed in the plurality of ladder resistors.
