<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical fiber holder with which damage to coated optical fibers is prevented and work efficiency in connecting the coated optical fibers to slot units is enhanced. <P>SOLUTION: The optical fiber holder 100 is equipped with a fixing part 110 of an optical fiber, a fixing part 120 of the optical fiber holder 100, and a connecting part 130 that connects these fixing parts 110, 120 for the purpose of holding the optical fiber fixing part 110 at an arbitrary posture relative to the holder fixing part 120. The optical fiber fixing part 110 includes a sponge part 111 in which a first to a third slit 112<SB>1</SB>-112<SB>3</SB>are formed on a slit forming face, for the purpose of fixing the first to the third coated optical fibers 2<SB>1</SB>-2<SB>3</SB>by holding the first to the third silicon tube 5<SB>1</SB>-5<SB>3</SB>-covered portions of these fibers, and includes a holding part 113 for holding the sponge part 111 by holding faces other than the slit forming face of the sponge part 111. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
