PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling system of dyanamoelectric machine bearings for water power stations of high reliability with maintenance facilitated. SOLUTION: The cooling system 20 of dynamoelectric machine bearings for water power generating stations includes a circulation line 11 circulating cooling water which is fresh water supplied to a turbine bearing cooling part 3, a water heat exchanger 12 provided in an intermediate part of the circulation line, water pumps (5,6) for circulating the cooling water in the circulation line 11, a cooling water cooler 1 having a refrigerant heat exchanger cooling the water heat exchanger 12, temperature sensors (7 to 10) for detecting a temperature of the cooling water circulated in the circulation line 11, and a controller 13 for controlling operation of the water pumps (5 to 6) and the cooling water cooler 1 based on the temperature of the cooling water detected by the temperature sensors (7 to 10).
