MIXED GAS SEPARATION METHOD AND SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mixed gas separation method and a system therefor which can inexpensively separate carbon dioxide with a simple device configuration.

SOLUTION: This mixed gas separation method comprises: a first process of sending the mixed gas into an alkaline solution when separating carbon dioxide from the mixed gas containing carbon dioxide to form a carbonate solution and discarding gas other than carbon dioxide; and a second process of electrolyzing the carbonate solution in an electrolysis tank to form carbon dioxide and an alkaline solution and recovering carbon dioxide. The alkaline solution obtained in the second process is reused as the alkaline solution of the first process.
