PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recorder which records rebroadcasting by retrieving the rebroadcasting of a program, the reservation record of which is abnormal and can cope with a recording failure of the rebroadcasting by acquiring content data of the program through a communication line when the record is abnormal. SOLUTION: When the reservation record of the program is determined to be abnormal, a CPU 101 retrieves data about the rebroadcasting of the program, and a storage part 8 temporarily stores the rebroadcasting of the program on the basis of results of the retrieval. The CPU 101 determines whether the temporary storage of the rebroadcasting is normal, and when the temporary storage is determined to be abnormal, the CPU 101 acquires content data of the program from a program providing means 2 through the Internet.
