PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pulley support bearing reducing the possibility of peeling of raceway surfaces. SOLUTION: The pulley support bearing 11 is a sealing type double row angular contact ball bearing provided with an inner ring 12 of which inner diameter dimension d<SB>1</SB>is ≥30 mm, an outer ring 13 of which outer diameter dimension d<SB>2</SB>is ≥45 mm and ≤65 mm and axial dimension l is <18 mm and 0.19 ≤ l/d<SB>2</SB>≤ 0.39, a plurality of balls 14 arranged between inner ring raceway surfaces 12a and outer ring raceway surfaces 13a and sealing seals 16 arranged between the inner ring 12 and the outer ring 13 and sealing a bearing inner space. A descaling process for removing scales generated during heat treatment is applied to seal rubbing faces 12c where the sealing seals 16 rub against the inner ring 12 or the outer ring 13.
