FLAMEPROOF WOVEN FABRIC HAVING EXCELLENT COMFORTABLENESS AND FLAMEPROOF WORKING WEAR MADE THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flameproof woven fabric and a flameproof working wear, which have high flame resistance while keeping air-permeability and lightness.

SOLUTION: The flameproof woven fabric is composed of a single layer and satisfies the following conditions: (1) The constituent fiber is a spun yarn composed of a heat-resistant fiber and a carbonizable flame-retardant fiber at a weight ratio of 65:35 to 35:65; (2) the basis weight is ≤240 g/m2; (3) the air permeability is ≥15 cm3/cm2/s; (4) the limited oxygen index (LOI) is ≥28; and (5) the weight reduction rate is 35-45% in the heat-treatment in air at 400°C for 30 min.
