<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power storage device compatible with both of high capacity and high output. <P>SOLUTION: The power storage device 1 is provided with a positive electrode 2 employing oxygen as a positive electrode active substance, a negative electrode 3 containing a negative electrode active substance having an ionization tendency higher than hydrogen, and an electrolytic layer 4 interposed between the positive electrode 2 and the negative electrode 3. When the electrolytic layer 4 contains water solution electrolyte, the power storage device 1 contains a capacitor substance 5 electrically conducted with the positive electrode 2 in the power storage device 1 to develop a capacitor function and having a capacity of not less than 50 F/g. When the electrolytic layer 4 contains an organic electrolyte, the power storage device 1 contains a capacitor substance 5 electrically conducted with the positive electrode 2 in the power storage device 1 to develop a capacitor function, and having a capacity of not less than 20 F/g. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
