<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus which ensures an easy operation for users. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus includes a processing unit which performs an image recording process for recording an image on a recording medium based on image data; a movement mechanism which moves the processing unit, a first control section which controls the image recording process performed by the processing unit, and a second control section which obtains a state of progress of the image recording process from the first control section and controls the movement mechanism so as to move the processing unit to a position according to the progress state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
