<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor controller, which is simple in structure and capable of reducing a heat sink and an electrolytic capacitor in size, and as a result reducing the motor controller itself in size and cost as a whole without increasing the electrolytic capacitor in capacity and a cooling fan performance. <P>SOLUTION: The motor controller is equipped with a housing 5, a power semiconductor module 2 contained in the front room of the housing, a heat sink 1 which is contained in the back room of the housing, connected to the power semiconductor module 2, and mounted and fixed on a barrier, an electrolytic capacitor 3 provided below the heat sink 1, and a cooling fan 4 which is provided above the heat sink 1 of the housing 5 to forcibly introduce a flow of cooling air to the heat sink 1, wherein a wind tunnel plate 9, which is formed nearly into an L shape covering the lower part of the back room of the housing 5, electrolytic capacitor 3, heat sink 1, and the back of cooling fan 4 so as to guide and concentrate a flow of cooling air on the heat sink 1, is provided. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
