<p>The invention relates to a protective helmet used for protecting the head of the carrier, while performing various human activities, as well as to a process for making the same. According to the invention, the helmet consists of a calotte consisting of a primary disk (1) which is in contact with a secondary disk (2), wherein there is located an addition disk (3), the disks (1 and 2) having equal radii, and the radius of each addition disk (3) ranges from 1/2 to 7/8 of the radii of the disks (1 and 2), the radii of these disks (3), from outside to the inside, within the calotte, decreasing by 1/24 of the radius of the primary and secondary disks (1 and 2), these being followed by another pair of primary and secondary disks (1 and 2) between which there is located an addition disk (3). According to the invention, the process consists in cold making, the calotte on a last (26) having a modelled shape, so as to follow the outline of the head to be protected, whereon there is centrally situated a thin and sharp mark (27) placed in the longitudinal symmetry axis of the last (26), in contact therewith and fastened to the mark (27) there being placed an interior support (28) made of a thin polyamide fabric, with a thickness of 0.1...0.2 mm and the fabric mesh dimension of 0.5...1.5 mm, whose length overpasses a lower base (j) of the last (26), forming an edge (k), over the support (28) there being located a secondary disk (2), then an addition disk (3) with the shortest radius and a primary disk (1) having the central areas (i and b), so that the groups of disks (1, 2 and 3) are positioned in relation to the marks (27) and over the addition disk (3) there is located an exterior support (29), made of the same thin polyamide fabric as the support (28), these forming an exterior edge (1) which join the primary and secondary disks (1 and 2) on the lower outline, between the said disks there being located the addition disks (3), superposed and clamped by means of a resistant thr</p> |
