An electromagnetic wave shielding film having a near infrared absorbing function and a transparency function, an optical filter having the same, and a plasma display panel having the optical filter are provided to obtain the thin optical filter without an additional layer for absorbing near infrared rays. An electromagnetic wave shielding film has a structure in which a transparent substrate(31), an electromagnetic wave shielding layer, and an adhesive transparent layer(20) are stacked in order. The electromagnetic shielding layer includes a conductive pattern unit(32) formed on at least some region of the transparent substrate. The adhesive transparent layer is formed to fill a groove unit of the conductive pattern unit and includes near infrared absorbing dye. The conductive pattern unit is formed in a mesh shape.
