A geosynthetic clay mat structure and a construction method of continuous liner are provided to prevent water from leaking at an overlap part of two neighboring mats by interposing a bentonite layer between mats. A geosynthetic clay mat structure comprises a first fabric layer(11), a first bentonite layer(12), a second fabric layer(13), an impermeable polyethylene film(14), and a second bentonite layer(15). The first bentonite layer is laminated on the first fabric layer. The second fabric layer is laminated on the first bentonite layer. The impermeable polyethylene film is laminated on the second fabric layer but for the overlap part where two mats meet each other. The second bentonite layer is laminated on the overlap part. |
