Use of palonosetron for treating post-operative nausea and vomiting

Disclosed is a unit dosage of from 0.025 to 0.250 mg of palonosetron hydrochloride for the treatment or prevention of post-operative nausea and vomiting (PONV), wherein: said palonosetron hydrochloride is present at a concentration ranging from 0.03 to 0.2 mg/ml or wherein said medicament dose has a pH of from 4.0 to 6.0 or said medicament dose further comprises trisodium citrate, mannitol or EDTA.
