A colored curable composition for a color filter is provided to be cured in high sensitivity, to ensure good pattern forming property, to suppress developed residues, and to exhibit excellent adhesiveness with a supporter. A colored curable composition for a color filter includes (a) a compound having at least one ethylenically unsaturated double bond, (b) a photopolymerization initiator, and (c) a coloring agent. The photopolymerization initiator(b) contains (A) a biimidazole-based compound, (B) a sensitizing dye, and (C) a mercapto compound. The content of the components (A)+(B)+(C) is in the range of 5-15% by mass relative to the total solids of the colored curable composition. |
