A circuit for generating driving voltages of an LCD device is provided to reduce power consumption of the LCD device by selecting a low source voltage in a battery mode required by a user. An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) device includes a driving voltage generator(200), data and gate drivers(202,204), and a liquid crystal panel(210). The driving voltage generator selects one of a source terminal voltage and a feedback voltage, amplifies the selected voltage, and generates at least one gamma reference voltage by dividing the amplified voltage. The data driver receives the gamma reference voltage and generates a gray scale voltage. The gate driver receives a gate on/off voltage from the driving voltage generator. The liquid crystal panel receives the gray scale voltage and the gate on/off voltage.
