PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an internal layer pattern position detecting method of a multilayer printed board easy to maintain and capable of constituting a device at lower cost and provide its device. SOLUTION: A coil 3 connected to an alternating current power supply 6 is moved along a surface of a multilayer printed board MP. Consequently, voltage E is induced to a pattern L1 of a conductor arranged on an internal layer printed board SP1 by an alternating field which the coil 3 forms. Thereafter, a direction of the induced voltage E is changed in the center in the cross direction of the pattern L1 when the coil 3 is moved in the cross direction of the pattern L1. Thereafter, the coil 3 and the multilayer printed board MP are relatively moved while confirming their positions, a position where the direction of the voltage E changes is found, and the found position is taken as a central coordinate in the cross direction of the pattern L1. |
