<p>A display device equipped with a braille board and a control method thereof are provided to enable visually handicapped persons to operate a refrigerator easily by making the braille board attachable to or detachable from positions where menu buttons of a touch screen are located and to providing voice information for explaining functions of the menu buttons. A display device includes a touch screen(10), a braille board(20) and a storage unit(50). The touch screen has one and more menu buttons. The braille board has braille buttons installed at positions on the touch screen which are the same as those of the menu buttons. The braille buttons display the same functions as the menu buttons. The braille board can be attached to or detached from the touch screen. The storage unit stores voice information for providing voice of the menu buttons with voice.</p> |
