摘要 <p>The invention relates to a handpiece of an electric toothbrush having a housing in which a drive unit is received. Said housing has a front or rear housing opening that can be closed by a cover in a preferably moisture- and liquid-proof manner. Snap-in means are provided on the housing and/or the cover for snap-locking the cover on the housing. The aim of the invention is to provide a combination of snap-in and threaded engagement for releasing the snap-in connection between the cover and the housing. For this purpose, at least one draft taper or curve, increasing in relation to the longitudinal axis of the housing, is provided on the housing and/or the cover. The cover can be axially lifted using said draft taper by twisting it about the longitudinal axis of the housing and the snap-in means are released. The draft taper or curve allows a threaded engagement of the cover with the housing and effects, for releasing the snap-in connection, a translation of a rotational movement of the cover into an axial movement of the same in a screw-on type manner. The snap-in means can be released in a power-saving manner by twisting the cover and they are forced to unlock by way of a restricted guidance having a threaded or curve engagement. The combination of snap-in connection of the cover and the housing and the draft taper or curve allowing a threaded or curve engagement for detaching the cover by twisting the same allows for a firm connection between the cover and the housing transmitting even high cleaning forces while facilitating a comparatively power-saving unlocking of the snap-in connection. The invention relates to a method for material separation using a laser, whereby a sequence of laser pulses (11 to 20) is produced and an area of a material to be treated is irradiated with the sequence of laser pulses (11 to 20). Methods of this type are used to separate a number of different materials. Known methods are problematic in that the surroundings of the area of treatment are thermally or mechanically damaged, leading to non-treated areas of the material being impaired. In order to address this problem, the laser pulse energy of an individual laser pulse of the sequence of laser pulses (11 to 20) is lower than the laser pulse energy required to produce a material separation using an isolated laser pulse in the area irradiated with the individual laser pulse of the sequence of laser pulses (11 to 20).</p>
