摘要 An electronic ballast for a cold cathode lamp is provided to prevent dielectric breakdown at high voltage by forming a structure of a transformer through winding of a secondary coil at a predetermined winding number after forming a plurality of sections with an insulator. An electronic ballast for a cold cathode lamp includes an inverter, a resonance and impedance matching circuit, a boosting transformer, and an electronic ballast protection circuit. The inverter rectifies commercial AC power to convert an AC signal into a DC signal and converts rectified DC power into a high frequency signal by using a high-speed switching circuit. The resonance and impedance matching circuit stores the converted high frequency signal as electric energy required for discharging of a lamp and includes a choke coil and a capacitor for transmitting the stored electric energy to an output stage. The boosting transformer boosts the converted high frequency signal to high voltage for discharge of the cold cathode lamp by being connected between the resonance and impedance matching circuit and the cold cathode lamp. The electronic ballast protection circuit protects an electronic ballast circuit.
