A PTC(Positive Temperature Coefficient) heating element is provided to facilitate assembly by forming a guide in a inserting direction of a conducting plate or at least PTC resistance element by a tap surrounding an opening of a housing protrusively. A PTC heating element includes a PTC resistance element(10), a housing, two conducting plates(8,12), an attaching tap(54), and a tap cutting unit(58). At least one PTC resistance element is arranged between two conducting plates inside an opening of the housing. The PTC resistance element is contacted with a heating element by an initial tension using at least one conducting plate as a medium layer. The heating element is fixed on the housing. The attaching tap which is arranged on an edge of the opening of the housing is protruded via the opening of the housing. The heating element has the tap cutting unit. The attaching tap is geared with the tap cutting unit.
