A rolled austenite stainless steel plate having a thickness of 100 mm or more, characterized by comprising the following components (by mass%): C: 0.08% or less, N: 0.10 to 0.22% inclusive, C+N: 0.12% or more, Si: 0.01 to 2.0% inclusive, Mn: 0.1 to 2.0% inclusive, Cr: 15 to 27% inclusive, Ni: 8 to 20% inclusive, Mo: 4% or less, Co: 0.1% or less, Cu: 0.1 to 3% inclusive, Al: 0.001 to 0.10% inclusive, and Ca: 0.0005 to 0.01% inclusive, having a calculated H-ferrite content (Hcal [vol%]) of-7 to 4% inclusive, and having an elongation of 30% or more both in the widthwise and lengthwise directions as measured at an arbitrary position in the thicknesswise direction. |
