A benzofluorene compound is provided to obtain a light emitting material capable of imparting excellent heat resistance, light emitting efficiency, current efficiency, lifespan and external quantum efficiency to an organic electroluminescence device. A benzofluorene compound is represented by the following formula 1. In formula 1, each of Ar1 and Ar2 represents a substituted or non-substituted aryl; and each of R1 and R2 independently represents H, a substituted or non-substituted alkyl, substituted or non-substituted cycloalkyl or substituted or non-substituted aryl, with the proviso that at least one of R1 and R2 is a substituted or non-substituted aryl. |
