<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an IC card system in which the issuing of a necessary service can be automatically performed by a card holder himself/herself. <P>SOLUTION: A relay terminal 2 returns a service menu in response to a request from a card control terminal 3a on which an IC card 4a is mounted. The card control terminal 3a selects a specific service from the service menu, and transmits an identifier corresponding to it to the relay terminal 2. The relay terminal 2 enciphers an instruction and data (an issuing command) necessary for the reception of a service corresponding to the received identifier, and transmits it through the card control terminal 3a to the IC card 4a. The IC card 4a decodes the issuing command by using a specific key set in an inside memory, and executes the issuing command so that the service can be issued. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
