PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transfer sheet which is capable of high speed transfer, good adhesion of a transfer layer after transfer, and excellent in work properties during transfer. SOLUTION: A transfer layer which can be peeled from a sheet-shaped support and transferred to a body to be transferred is provided on the support. The transfer layer has, from the side close to the support, at least a diffraction structure forming layer having an uneven surface for generating diffracted light, a diffraction effect layer which is composed of an optical thin film formed to adhere to the unevenness of the uneven surface and reflects light transmitted the diffraction structure forming layer, and an adhesive layer formed to cover the diffraction effect layer.
